Yasho Industries opens new R&D centre in Gujarat

Yasho Industries Limited (YIL) officially inaugurated its advanced research and development (R&D) centre in Pakhajan, Gujarat, on October 29, 2025. This facility is a key part of the company's innovation roadmap, designed to enhance product development capabilities and optimize processes for both domestic and global industrial and consumer markets.

The new R&D facility was established with a capital expenditure investment of ₹23 crore, forming part of YIL's FY26 annual capex plan of ₹100 crore. It is equipped with analytical and testing instruments and will house a team of 40 specialized chemists and researchers. Their focus will be on developing high-performance, sustainable solutions in performance chemicals, lubricants, rubber, and specialty polymer applications.

Parag Jhaveri, managing director and chief executive of Yasho Industries Limited, stated that the centre will accelerate product development for global customers and strengthen the company's position as a preferred partner in the specialty chemicals sector. This expansion reinforces YIL's commitment to science-driven innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable chemical manufacturing.
