Spice Lounge acquires Rightfest hospitality, eyes Blackstone Management stake

Spice Lounge Food Works Ltd. announced on October 29, 2025, the acquisition of 100% of Rightfest Hospitality LLP. This move significantly broadens Spice Lounge's presence in India's casual dining, quick-service, and tech-enabled food experience sectors, leveraging Rightfest's strong brand, live-music events, and premium venue assets, which have collectively hosted over 1.6 lakh patrons since 2022.

The board has also authorized chairman and director, Mohan Babu Karjela, to analyze and potentially acquire a majority stake in Blackstone Management LLC. This international hospitality group specializes in development, management, franchise, and consulting services for the luxury dining and lifestyle sector, aligning with Spice Lounge's long-term strategy for diversification and global expansion.

The company, with over 75 years of combined hospitality expertise and 500+ team members, manages over 13 outlets under global and homegrown brands including Buffalo Wild Wings, Wing Zone, and Blaze Kebabs. This acquisition is poised to scale Spice Lounge beyond a food-service player into an all-encompassing lifestyle powerhouse.
