NDTV reports wider losses, names new cfo

NDTV's standalone net loss after tax for the half year ended September 30, 2025, stood at INR 13,594 lakhs, while consolidated net loss after tax was INR 14,432 lakhs. This compares to a standalone net loss after tax of INR 9,250 lakhs and a consolidated net loss after tax of INR 10,056 lakhs for the previous period. Total standalone income for the half year reached INR 12,741 lakhs, with consolidated total income at INR 23,755 lakhs.

The company also announced the appointment of Akhil Kumar Gupta as the chief financial officer (CFO) and Key Managerial Personnel (KMP), effective December 1, 2025. This follows Anup Dutta's superannuation. Additionally, Viral Jagdish Doshi was re-appointed as an independent director for a second three-year term, commencing January 24, 2026.

These decisions were made during the board of directors meeting held on October 29, 2025. The company's paid-up equity share capital remained at INR 2,579 lakhs.
