Blue Cloud Softech partners with Byte Eclipse for Edge AI chips in oil & gas

Blue Cloud Softech Solutions Limited (BCSSL) has signed a $15 million Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Byte Eclipse, a US-based IoT company. This partnership focuses on designing and developing Edge AI chips specifically for Industrial AIoT applications within the Oil & Gas (O&G) sector. The primary goal is to create advanced Edge AI chips that facilitate real-time, on-site data processing and decision-making for critical applications like Predictive Maintenance.

The initial phase of the project, valued at $15 million, is expected to be completed within 18 months, with subsequent phases planned for global expansion. These Edge AI chips are designed for high computational power, energy efficiency, ruggedness for harsh O&G environments, and seamless integration with existing industrial systems such as SCADA and PLCs.

This collaboration aims to address unique challenges in the O&G sector, including remote locations and the need for secure, efficient, and autonomous operations. The partnership positions BCSSL to capitalize on the growing global Edge AI market and the Indian Industrial AIoT market, which is projected to exceed $1 billion by 2027.
