Tamil Nadu Newsprint And Papers reports strong revenue growth, appoints new director

Tamil Nadu Newsprint And Papers Limited (TNPL) reported a significant increase in total revenue for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. Total revenue for the quarter reached INR1128.39 Crore, up from INR927.87 Crore in the prior year, with half-year revenue at INR2282.94 Crore compared to INR2057.71 Crore previously. Profit after tax for the quarter was INR8.10 Crore, an increase from INR2.59 Crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

The board of directors also approved the appointment of Thiru Mathew Thomas as an independent director for a three-year term, effective October 27, 2025. This appointment is subject to shareholder approval. The company further noted an experienced leader in the Indian IT sector, with proficiency in multiple languages.

In addition, TNPL detailed its related party transactions, including remuneration paid to key managerial personnel totaling INR105.19 Lakh for the period from April 1 to September 30, 2025, and contributions to various trusts and societies.
