Mphasis achieves ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification for AI management systems

Mphasis announced on October 28, 2025, that it has achieved ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS). This certification was awarded by TÜV SÜD South Asia Private Limited and accredited by the National Accreditation Board for Certification Bodies (NABCB), recognizing Mphasis' leadership in adopting global AI standards for responsible AI development and use.

The company’s chief executive and managing director, Nitin Rakesh, stated this accreditation reinforces Mphasis' commitment to responsible AI innovation. It also assures clients that its AI solutions adhere to the highest global standards of integrity, reliability, and compliance. The accreditation by TÜV SÜD South Asia Pvt. Ltd., one of two NABCB-accredited certification bodies in India, underscores Mphasis' adherence to ethical governance and transparency in AI.

ISO/IEC 42001:2023 provides a structured framework for developing, deploying, and governing AI systems, ensuring independent verification and strengthening trust in AI adoption. Mphasis has noted growing customer demand for its AI-driven solutions, with AI-led deals representing 68% of its total new contract wins in Q1 FY26, a significant increase from approximately 30% a year ago.
