Magellanic cloud subsidiary secures railway surveillance contract

Provigil Surveillance Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Magellanic Cloud Limited, has secured a letter of acceptance (LoA) from South Central Railway, Guntur Division. The contract is valued at INR 2.40 Crores and involves replacing existing video surveillance systems and providing video recording facilities at various railway stations, relay rooms, and station master rooms.

This project aims to bolster passenger safety, enhance station monitoring, and protect assets through real-time visibility, cyber-secure data management, and improved operational efficiency, leveraging advanced video analytics and centralized control. The company stated the contract reinforces Provigil's expertise in large-scale surveillance for government agencies, including Indian Railways.

Magellanic Cloud's global ceo & managing director, Mr. Joseph Sudheer Reddy Thumma, highlighted that these consecutive contracts validate the company's performance in deploying advanced, AI-integrated monitoring solutions. The project is expected to be executed within twelve months.
