Havells India plans significant washing machine capacity expansion at Ghiloth

Havells India Limited announced plans on October 28, 2025, to expand its washing machine production capacity at its Ghiloth manufacturing plant. The company intends to add an additional 150,000 units per annum to its existing capacity of 680,000 units per annum. This expansion is targeted for completion by December 2026.

The project requires an estimated investment of approximately INR 60 crores, which will be financed through internal accruals. The rationale behind this expansion is to cater to the market with an entire range of washing machines. Current capacity utilization is 52%, based on production volume for H1 FY 25-26.
