BEML to pilot automatic cargo evacuation system with port authority, metro

BEML Limited has entered into a quadripartite memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Deendayal Port Authority (DPA), Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC), and Umeandus Technologies India Pvt. Ltd. (UTIPL). This alliance focuses on developing a pilot project for a Real Time Automatic Cargo Evacuation System, also known as e-FTS (Enhance Freight Transport System).

Under the MoU, DPA will act as the client, while DMRC will serve as the lead member. BEML and UTIPL are designated as the execution partners for the project. This disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.

The announcement, dated October 28, 2025, was communicated to the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd. and The BSE Limited by Urmi Chaudhury, company secretary & compliance officer for BEML Limited. The company confirmed that this initiative is part of its normal course of business.
