Amara Raja Energy & Mobility names new chief business officer

Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited (formerly Amara Raja Batteries Limited) has appointed Chandrasekar Radhakrishnan as its chief business officer – automotive, effective October 27, 2025. This appointment, categorized as a change in senior management personnel, was formally communicated to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited on October 28, 2025.

Radhakrishnan will oversee the automotive business for both domestic and SAARC regions. His responsibilities include driving the company's business strategy, strengthening brand positioning, and enabling growth through integrated marketing initiatives.

Radhakrishnan holds a bachelor's degree in computer engineering from Manipal Institute of Technology and a postgraduate degree in marketing studies from NMIMS, Mumbai, along with completing the Digital Business Leadership Program at Columbia Business School, New York. He brings extensive experience from roles in sales, marketing, and P&L leadership across the FMCG, telecom, and EV sectors, previously serving as the head of business growth – emerging mobility at Hero MotoCorp.
