MIC Electronics partners with Chipex for custom semiconductor development

MIC Electronics Limited ("MIC"), an OEM partner, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Chipex Technologies Private Limited ("Chipex"), a chip development partner. This collaboration, announced on October 27, 2025, aims to jointly develop custom semiconductor solutions that align with MIC's product roadmap. The partnership seeks to improve product differentiation, performance, and long-term supply stability for MIC's offerings.

The MOU outlines a framework for combining both parties' technical expertise to create silicon solutions tailored to MIC's product portfolio. This includes achieving enhanced product differentiation through proprietary architectures, improved system performance and energy efficiency, and ensuring long-term supply assurance and design ownership.

The agreement does not involve any shareholding by MIC in Chipex, nor does it grant special rights such as appointing directors or first rights to share subscriptions. The transaction is not categorized as a related party transaction. Further project-specific deliverables and commercial terms will be defined in subsequent statements of work (SOWs).
