ePlane selects Ramco Systems for eVTOL lifecycle management

Ramco Systems announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The ePlane Company (Ubifly Technologies Private Limited) on October 27, 2025. This partnership will enable ePlane to utilize Ramco Aviation Software for the full lifecycle management of its e200X air taxi, air ambulance, and air cargo fleet. The implementation will align with the e200X's certification and regulatory approvals, supporting manufacturing and commercial service readiness.

Under the MOU, ePlane gains access to Ramco Aviation Software's comprehensive modules, including Engineering & CAMO, Maintenance, Supply Chain, MRO & Part Sales, Flight Operations, Safety, Quality and Compliance, Manufacturing, Employee Management, and Finance & Accounting. This digital foundation aims to support ePlane's operational growth and manage complexity across engineering, operations, and compliance.

The ePlane Company, incubated at IIT Madras, is developing the all-electric, zero-emission e200X, targeting the $1+ trillion global Urban Air Mobility (UAM) market. Founded by professor Satya Chakravarthy in 2019, the company holds a Synergistic List patent in eight countries and is India's first private company to receive Design Organisation Approval (DoA) for an electric aircraft, with type certification under progress since December 2024.
