Dalmia Bharat subsidiaries acquire stakes in solar power SPVs

Dalmia Bharat Limited's subsidiaries, Dalmia Cement (Bharat) Limited (DCBL) and Dalmia Bharat Green Vision Limited (DBGVL), have announced acquisitions in solar power Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs). On October 27, 2025, DCBL agreed to acquire stakes in Gee Yess India Engineering Technology Private Limited and San Power Generation Transmission Private Limited for an aggregate consideration of INR 6 Crore, aiming to source up to 20.00 MW of solar power in Tamil Nadu.

Separately, DBGVL also signed an agreement on the same date to acquire a stake in Arunachalam Solar Power Private Limited for INR 1.8 Crore, targeting a 6.00 MW solar capacity, also in Tamil Nadu. These acquisitions are part of the group’s commitment to achieving RE 100 by 2030 and becoming carbon negative by 2040, with all transactions expected to finalize within three months, subject to customary conditions.
