NCC secures major coal extraction, transportation contract from Central Coalfields

NCC Limited has secured a major Letter of Acceptance from Central Coalfields Limited for extraction and transportation of overburden and coal at Amrapali OCP, Chandragupt Area in Jharkhand State. The order, dated October 24, 2025, involves hiring of HEMM for the removal of 413.59 M CuM of overburden, extraction of 233.325 MT of coal, and transportation to Shivpur siding and surface stockyard, including wagon loading of 139.995 MT of coal at Shivpur siding.

This domestic contract has a total value of Rs. 6828.94 Crore (excluding GST). The project's timeline spans 07 years for the production period and an additional 360 days for the development period, totaling 2915 days.

The company confirmed that the order does not involve any promoter or related party interests, nor does it fall under related party transactions. The announcement underscores NCC's continued growth in large-scale infrastructure projects.
