MedPlus subsidiary hit with drug license suspensions in Karnataka, Telangana

MedPlus Health Services Limited announced on October 25, 2025, that its subsidiary, Optival Health Solutions Private Limited, has received two drug license suspension orders for stores in Vijayapura, Karnataka, and Thorrur, Telangana.

The assistant director, drugs control administration, Vijayapura Circle-Karnataka, suspended a drug license for five days for a store on Bus Stand Road, Vijayapura. This is projected to result in a potential revenue loss of Rs~1.12 lacs. Separately, the assistant director, drugs control administration, Khammam, Telangana, suspended a drug license for three days for a store on Bus Station Road, Thorrur, with an estimated potential revenue loss of Rs~0.39 lacs. Both orders were received on October 24, 2025.
