ICICI Prudential fund exceeds 5% stake in V-Guard Industries

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, through its various schemes, has announced a substantial increase in its shareholding in V-Guard Industries Ltd. On October 20, 2025, the fund completed a net acquisition of 53,077 equity shares of V-Guard Industries.

This recent acquisition has pushed ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund's total shareholding to 2,18,43,603 shares, representing 5.010% of the company's paid-up capital. Before this transaction, the fund held 2,17,90,526 shares, equivalent to 4.998% of V-Guard Industries' voting capital. The acquisition was executed via the secondary market, with the holding intended for investment purposes.

The disclosure, made under Regulation 29(1) of SEBI (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) Regulations, 2011, confirms that V-Guard Industries has a total equity share capital of 43,59,98,786 shares, each with a face value of ₹1.
