HUDCO and JNPA sign MoU for Rs.5,000 crore port infrastructure

Housing and Urban Development Corporation Limited (HUDCO) announced on October 24, 2025, the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA). This non-binding MoU aims to establish cooperation for exploring collaboration in existing and upcoming infrastructure development, as well as the financing and refinancing of port infrastructure projects at JN Port. The estimated financial implication of this collaboration is Rs.5,000 crore.

The agreement specifies that the MoU was signed by Sanjay Kulshrestha, cmd, HUDCO, and Unmesh Sharad Wagh, chairman, JNPA. This strategic alliance is expected to boost infrastructure development within the port sector, leveraging HUDCO's expertise in financing such projects.

The announcement was made to the listing departments of both BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited, ensuring transparency to investors and stakeholders regarding this significant corporate development.
