Andhra Cements reports deeper Q2 loss; half-year losses widen

Andhra Cements Limited reported a net loss of INR 4,192 lakhs for the quarter ended September 30, 2025, an increase from the INR 2,962 lakhs net loss in the previous quarter. For the six months ended September 30, 2025, the company posted a net loss of INR 7,154 lakhs, compared to a net loss of INR 5,847 lakhs for the corresponding period in 2024. Revenue from operations for the quarter was INR 7,785 lakhs.

Total expenses for the quarter reached INR 12,036 lakhs, contributing to a loss before tax of INR 4,192 lakhs. For the half-year, total expenses amounted to INR 25,056 lakhs. The company's basic and diluted earnings per share for the quarter were (INR 4.55).

The board of directors approved these unaudited financial results during their meeting on October 23, 2025. During the current quarter, Andhra Cements decided to sell unused land parcels, with the sale expected to be completed in the financial year 2025-26.
