DroneAcharya wins Indian Army drone order, auditors resign

DroneAcharya Aerial Innovations Limited has been awarded a work order by the Indian Army (Ministry of Defence) for the supply of 500 Sub Tactical Very Short Range Drones. The order is valued at INR 2,59,22,500 and was awarded on October 18, 2025. Deliveries are scheduled in three lots: 166 units by April 16, 2026; 167 units by July 15, 2026; and the final 167 units by October 18, 2026. This contract reinforces the company's focus on the defense and security segment.

Concurrently, KPRK & Associates LLP, the company's statutory auditors, have tendered their resignation effective October 20, 2025. The resignation, attributed to "pre-occupations and other professional commitments," was confirmed by the auditors. KPRK & Associates LLP had been appointed on September 30, 2022, with a scheduled term until March 31, 2027.

The auditor's resignation letter confirms no other material reasons for their departure. DroneAcharya's board and management extended their appreciation for the auditors' cooperation during their tenure.
