Sudarshan Pharma appoints new independent director, announces resignation

Sudarshan Pharma Industries Limited announced a change in its directorate, effective October 18, 2025. Dr. Vijay Ojha has been appointed as an additional independent director. Dr. Ojha brings over 30 years of industrial experience in API, formulation development, scale-up, and commercialization within the pharmaceutical sector, having previously worked with organizations such as Lupin Limited, Sun Pharmaceuticals Limited, and IPCA Laboratories Limited. His educational background includes a PhD in pharmaceutical sciences and an M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry.

Concurrently, Dr. Umesh Luthra has resigned from his position as an independent director due to pre-occupation, effective the same date. The company confirmed that no other material reasons were provided for his resignation. Sudarshan Pharma Industries Limited will record his resignation and complete all necessary regulatory filings with the Stock Exchanges and Ministry of Corporate Affairs.
