Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy reports mixed half-year results

Sterling and Wilson Renewable Energy Limited reported a consolidated net loss of INR (1,280) million for the half-year ended September 30, 2025, a significant increase from INR (109) million in the same period of the previous year. For the quarter ended September 30, 2025, the consolidated net loss stood at INR (86) million, an improvement from INR (727) million in the corresponding quarter of 2024.

Total income from operations for the half-year decreased to INR 23,088 million from INR 28,680 million year-over-year. However, the quarter saw a rise in total income from operations to INR 13,383 million compared to INR 11,043 million in the prior year's September quarter. Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) for the half-year were INR (4.93), down from INR (0.42) previously, while the quarter showed an EPS of INR (0.33) compared to INR (2.80) in Q2 2024.

Standalone results presented a profit of INR 300 million for the half-year, reversing a loss of INR (444) million in the previous year. Quarterly standalone profit was INR 321 million, a substantial turnaround from a loss of INR (282) million in the corresponding quarter of 2024.
