Chembond reports mixed half-year results as profit dips from previous year

Chembond Material Technologies Limited has disclosed its unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ending September 30, 2025. Total income for the quarter reached INR 1,707.03 lakhs, compared to INR 1,600.73 lakhs in the previous quarter and INR 1,933.20 lakhs in the corresponding quarter of the prior year. For the half-year, total income was INR 3,307.76 lakhs.

Profit before exceptional items and tax for the quarter stood at INR 199.30 lakhs, an increase from INR 182.26 lakhs in the previous quarter, but lower than INR 474.92 lakhs reported in the same quarter last year. The half-year profit before exceptional items and tax amounted to INR 381.56 lakhs.

The company reported a profit after tax of INR 146.43 lakhs for the quarter and INR 280.89 lakhs for the half-year. Earnings Per Share (basic and diluted) for the quarter was INR 2.68, while for the half-year it was INR 5.15. These results were published on October 18, 2025.
