Websol energy board approves director reappointment, share split

Websol Energy System Limited's board of directors, in a meeting held on Friday, October 17, 2025, approved the re-appointment of Ms. Sanjana Khaitan as whole-time director (executive director) for three years. This re-appointment is subject to prior approval from the company's members through a postal ballot, as per SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. Ms. Khaitan is a commerce graduate from SRCC, Delhi University, and holds a postgraduate in finance from the University of Cambridge; she is also the granddaughter of Mr. Sohan Lal Agarwal, the company's managing director.

The board also decided to conduct a postal ballot to seek shareholder approval for an ordinary resolution and anticipates completing the subdivision/split of equity shares process by November 2025. These decisions were made in accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The meeting commenced at 11:45 AM and concluded at 12:38 PM. Detailed disclosures concerning these changes have been provided as required under Part A of Schedule III of the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.
