The shares were acquired for long-term and short-term investment benefits, though Maithan Alloys does not intend to acquire direct or indirect control over NBCC's management.

NBCC (India) Limited, a Government of India Navratna Enterprise, specializes in project management consultancy for civil construction, real estate, and engineering procurement & construction activities. For the financial year 2024-2025, NBCC reported a turnover of ₹8,725 crore, a PAT of ₹476 crore, and a net worth of ₹2,328 crore. This transaction was not considered a related party transaction.
