Tata Power halts Mundra unit operations for overhauling

The Tata Power Company Limited informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) on October 17, 2025, about the temporary suspension of operations at its units in Mundra. This closure is for overhauling activities aimed at resolving existing technical issues. The company expects the closure to last until November 30, 2025.

According to the disclosure, there is no binding agreement for the sale of these units. The turnover generated by the affected units during the fiscal year 2024-25 amounted to ₹11,290 crore, representing a portion of the company's consolidated turnover of ₹64,502 crore. The net worth of these units constitutes less than 10% of the company's total consolidated net worth.
