Subros secures ₹27 crore Indian railways air-conditioning order

Subros Limited, a leading manufacturer of thermal products for automotive applications in India, has secured a new order from Indian Railways. The contract, valued at approximately ₹27 crores, is for the supply of cabin air-conditioning equipment for Diesel Electric Locomotives and was awarded following a recently concluded tender.

This new order is a strategic step for Subros Limited, aligning with its objective to expand its business within the Railway Electric Mobility Segment. The company already serves Indian Railways as a supplier of rail driver cabin and coach air-conditioning systems.

Established in 1985 as a joint venture involving the Suri family, DENSO Corporation, and Suzuki Motor Corporation, Subros is India's only integrated manufacturing unit for auto air conditioning systems and thermal products. It serves various segments including passenger vehicles, buses, trucks, and railways.
