Mazagon Dock, Naval Group partner on evolved Scorpene submarines

Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. (MDL) announced on October 17, 2025, that it has signed an exclusive Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Naval Group, France. The agreement, executed on October 16, 2025, pertains to the offering of evolved Scorpene Submarines.

This collaboration aims to support an unnamed friendly country's ongoing submarine acquisition program. The company stated that this disclosure is made in accordance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The announcement was made by lalantendu acharya, company secretary and compliance officer. MDL, a government of India undertaking, is an ISO 9001 certified company.
