Hindalco announces leadership changes for aluminum downstream business

Hindalco Industries Limited announced changes in its senior management personnel, effective November 1, 2025. Nilesh Koul, CEO aluminum downstream, will resign from his position at the close of business hours on October 31, 2025, to pursue external opportunities. The board of directors approved these changes based on the nomination and remuneration committee's recommendation.

Following Koul's resignation, Kopal Agrawal, currently the chief procurement officer, will assume the role of CEO aluminum downstream, effective November 1, 2025. Agrawal brings over 20 years of experience in operations, strategy, planning, and procurement, with significant tenure at Schlumberger Ltd. before joining the Aditya Birla Group. Concurrently, Abhishek Mohla, currently the chief sales and marketing officer for the copper business, will be appointed as the chief procurement officer, also effective November 1, 2025. Mohla has been with the Aditya Birla Group since 2006, holding various roles in sales and marketing.

These appointments and the resignation were disclosed under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, and the SEBI Master Circular dated November 11, 2024.
