Great Eastern Shipping sells product tanker Jag Pooja

Great Eastern Shipping Company Limited (G E Shipping) has contracted to sell its 2005-built Medium Range Product Tanker, "Jag Pooja," with a capacity of approximately 48,539 dwt. The transaction, agreed upon October 17, 2025, involves an unaffiliated third party, with delivery to the new buyer expected by Q3 FY26.

Following this sale, G E Shipping's owned fleet will comprise 40 vessels, including 26 tankers (5 crude, 17 product, 4 LPG carriers) and 14 dry bulk carriers (2 Capesize, 10 Kamsarmax, 2 Supramax), totaling an aggregate of 3.21 million dwt.

Additionally, in Q2 FY26, the company contracted to purchase one secondhand Suezmax crude tanker and sell another secondhand Suezmax crude tanker, with these three purchase and sale transactions anticipated to conclude by Q3 FY26.
