Global Surfaces names chairman Mayank Shah as new CFO

Global Surfaces Ltd. (GSL) announced the appointment of Mayank Shah as chief financial officer, effective October 17, 2025. This appointment comes in addition to his current roles as chairman and managing director of the company. The decision was made by the board of directors following recommendations from the nomination and remuneration committee and audit committee.

Shah brings over two decades of entrepreneurial and operational experience in the natural and engineered stone industry. He holds a bachelor's degree in commerce from the University of Calcutta and has been actively involved in the group's finance function, demonstrating strategic oversight on business expansion and capital allocation. His responsibilities now include determining the materiality of events for disclosure to stock exchanges.
