Brigade Foundation launches major tree planting initiative in Bengaluru

Brigade Foundation, the not-for-profit trust of Brigade Group, has initiated a landmark tree planting drive titled "From Saplings to a Sanctuary: Planting 100,000 Trees for a Greener Tomorrow" in Bengaluru's KIADB area. This initiative, launched on October 17, 2025, aims to reinforce local landscapes as thriving ecological reserves, with saplings to be planted in and around Brigade Group's projects. The foundation has partnered with Bengaluru-based Vanantara, an ecologically focused firm, to nurture the saplings.

The initiative was inaugurated by M. B. Patil, honorable minister for large and medium industries & infrastructure development, government of Karnataka, alongside M. R. Jaishankar, lifetime trustee, Brigade Foundation and executive chairman, Brigade Enterprises Limited. K. H. Muniyappa, honorable minister for food and civil supplies, government of Karnataka, also spoke at the event, commending Brigade Group's efforts.

This drive extends Brigade Foundation's previous environmental commitments, having already planted 100,000 trees across some of its properties in Bengaluru and Mysuru. The project underscores Brigade Group's philosophy of balancing development with environmental responsibility.
