Waterbase reports deeper losses as revenue declines in fiscal 2025

For the financial year ended March 31, 2025, Waterbase Limited reported total income of ₹28,293.01 Lakhs, a decrease from ₹34,233.52 Lakhs in the previous year. Revenue from operations specifically fell to ₹27,770.66 Lakhs from ₹33,925.31 Lakhs. The company's net loss deepened to ₹1,815.32 Lakhs for the standalone results, compared to a loss of ₹1,043.61 Lakhs in 2024. Basic and diluted earnings per share were reported at (₹4.38), a decline from (₹2.52) in the prior year.

The Debt-Equity Ratio increased by 85% to 0.28, reflecting higher borrowings during the year. The Inventory Turnover Ratio decreased by 25% to 3.12 due to a drop in feed sales and higher inventory in the process plant. Net Profit Margin declined by 114% to -6.74%, directly attributed to lower sales and increased net loss.

The company's board did not recommend a final dividend for FY 2024-25. The 38th Annual General Meeting will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at 12:30 PM (IST) via video conferencing.
