Karur Vysya Bank's ESG rating improves for FY2024-25

Karur Vysya Bank Limited announced on October 16, 2025, that it has received an ESG score of 66 for the financial year 2024-25. This assessment was provided by M/s. ESG Risk Assessments and Insights Limited, a SEBI-registered ESG rating provider, following a communication dated October 15, 2025. This score is an integral part of the bank's annual ESG assessment process.

The bank emphasized that it did not engage M/s. ESG Risk Assessments and Insights Limited directly for this evaluation. Instead, the rating firm independently determined the ESG score based solely on Karur Vysya Bank's public disclosures and other publicly available information pertinent to the financial year 2024-25. This reflects an increase from the previously assigned ESG score of 64.03 for the financial year 2023-24.

The intimation was made under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015, pertaining to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) rating intimation. The news was shared with both the National Stock Exchange of India Ltd and BSE Ltd.
