Dabur India gets 'complete stay' on GST demand

Dabur India Limited received a "complete stay" on a show cause notice issued by the Additional Director, DGGI, Coimbatore, regarding a GST demand of Rs. 1,103,903,461. The notice covered a six-year period from FY 2018-19 to FY 2023-24, proposing the demand under Section 74 of the CGST Act, 2017, along with interest and penalty, and questioning product classification.

The company had challenged the show cause notice before the Allahabad High Court, which granted the "complete stay" via an order dated October 10, 2025. This order was officially received by Dabur India on October 15, 2025.

This update was submitted to both the BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited in accordance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
