Mahindra Finance names Alka Srivastava new head of underwriting

Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited (Mahindra Finance) has announced the appointment of alka srivastava as the new head-underwriting, effective October 15, 2025. Srivastava, currently the business head for commercial vehicle, construction equipment (CVCE), will transition from her current role on the same date.

Srivastava brings 24 years of experience in the banking and financial services sector. Her career includes a decade at HDFC Bank, seven years at Axis Bank, and three years at CitiFinancial, with a primary focus on underwriting and risk management across various retail loan products such as car, commercial vehicle, construction equipment, two-wheeler, and personal loans.

She has been with Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Limited for the past three years, previously heading the underwriting function as head underwriting and policy-vehicle loans before her current role leading the CVCE business for the last year.
