ICICI Lombard announces interim dividend, strong half-year results

ICICI Lombard's board of directors, at their meeting on October 14, 2025, approved the audited financial statements and results for the quarter and half-year ended September 30, 2025. The company reported a profit after tax (PAT) of ₹156,662 lakhs for the half-year, building on a PAT of ₹81,954 lakhs for the quarter. Gross premiums written for the half-year reached ₹1,511,141 lakhs, with net premium written at ₹1,092,356 lakhs.

The board also declared an interim dividend of ₹6.50 per equity share (65.0% of face value of ₹10 each) for the financial year ending March 31, 2026. This dividend will be paid to eligible shareholders by November 12, 2025, with October 23, 2025, set as the record date. The solvency ratio stood at 2.73, and the combined ratio was 104.0% for the half-year ended September 30, 2025.

In accordance with IRDAI regulations, the company's gross written premium for applicable long-term products saw a decrease of ₹68,052 lakhs for the half-year, which contributed to an increase in profit after tax by ₹2,399 lakhs for the same period.
