Tata Motors Limited rebrands to Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited

Tata Motors Limited has officially changed its name to Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited, effective October 13, 2025. This renaming follows the Ministry of Corporate Affairs' issuance of a fresh Certificate of Incorporation, as intimated to the stock exchanges. The change is a direct outcome of a Composite Scheme of Arrangement, which became effective on October 1, 2025, after sanctions from the National Company Law Tribunal.

The scheme involved Tata Motors Limited, TML Commercial Vehicles Limited (TMLCV), and Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited. As a result, the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the company have been amended to reflect the new name. The company is now in the process of applying to the stock exchanges to update their records and websites.

Subsequently, TMLCV is also set to change its name to "Tata Motors Limited" in due course, completing the restructuring. The company’s registered office remains at Bombay House, 24 Homi Mody Street, Fort, Mumbai 400001.
