RACL Geartech announces board changes, new independent and non-independent directors

RACL Geartech Ltd. announced that Shashank Ramesh Anikhindi concluded his term as an independent director, effective September 28, 2025. Following this, he ceased to be chairman of the risk management committee and a member of both the audit committee and the nomination and remuneration committee. The company also apologized for an unintended delay in submitting the required intimation.

In a related development, RACL Geartech appointed Pravir Kumar as a non-executive independent director and Rakesh Kapoor as a non-executive non-independent director, both effective August 11, 2025. These appointments were approved by shareholders at the 42nd annual general meeting on September 26, 2025.

Pravir Kumar brings extensive experience as a 1982 batch IAS officer, having served across various government departments, including drafting India's foreign trade policy (FTP) 2015-20. Rakesh Kapoor is a seasoned techno-financial professional with over 48 years of experience, including 20 years at IFCI Limited, and has previously served as an independent director for RACL Geartech.
