LT Foods to expand into processed fruits and vegetables with €6m acquisition

LT Foods Limited announced it will acquire Global Green Europe Kft., Greenhouse AGRAR Kft., and Global Green International (UK) Limited from Global Green International N.V. This strategic acquisition aligns with LT Foods' long-term vision to diversify into the processed ambient fruits and vegetables business.

The acquisition involves a cash consideration of €6m payable at closing, with an additional €1.8m through an earn-out mechanism. This will result in 100% control of the target entities. The transaction is subject to FDI clearance in Hungary, with completion expected in Q3 FY2025-26. The acquired Hungarian operations, established in 2006, specialize in sweet corn, gherkins, onions, and sour cherries, serving over 30 countries in Europe.

The acquired entities reported turnovers of €40.8m in 2022, €37.0m in 2023, and €40.3m in 2024.
