LIC reduces stake in Dalmia Bharat

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has reported a substantial change in its shareholding in Dalmia Bharat Ltd., according to a disclosure made under SEBI regulations. Before the recent transactions, LIC held 9,453,637 shares, representing 5.040% of Dalmia Bharat's total voting capital.

Between May 14, 2025, and October 9, 2025, LIC sold 3,787,820 shares through open market transactions, which accounted for 2.020% of the company's voting capital. This sale reduced LIC's total holding in Dalmia Bharat to 5,665,817 shares, bringing its ownership to 3.020% of the total voting capital.

The disclosure also confirms that LIC is not part of the promoter or promoter group for Dalmia Bharat.
