Larsen & Toubro secures major power infrastructure orders in Middle East

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won "Large" category orders for its Power Transmission & Distribution business, encompassing grid infrastructure projects in the Middle East. These orders include the engineering, procurement, and construction of a 400 kV substation in the UAE to establish a direct interconnection for the Sultanate of Oman's network.

Additionally, L&T will build new 132kV substations in the Middle East to support growing electricity demand. In Saudi Arabia, the company secured an order for the turnkey construction of 380 kV overhead transmission lines, integral to the integration of renewable energy power plants.

A "Large" project classification for L&T indicates a value between INR 2,500 Cr and INR 5,000 Cr. This announcement was made on October 13, 2025.
