Karnataka Bank announces senior management promotions, reallocations

Karnataka Bank Ltd. has announced substantial changes within its senior management, promoting five deputy general managers to the general manager cadre (Scale VII). Mr. Raghuram H S, previously chief risk officer; Mr. Chandrashekara G from HO-Credit Sanctions; Mr. Sunil Rao B from HO-Treasury Back Office; Mr. Sham K, company secretary; and Mr. Sreedhar S, regional head of Chennai, have all been elevated. Mr. Sham K will also assume overall responsibility for the operations department in addition to his secretarial duties.

Furthermore, seven assistant general managers have been promoted to the deputy general manager cadre (Scale VI). Notable promotions include Mr. Bhaskar A, who moves to Regional Office-Bengaluru North, and Mrs. Gayathri S, whose role in credit marketing remains unchanged. Mrs. Sudha K from HO-Credit Monitoring Department and Mr. Rama Seshu K from Regional Office Tumakuru were also promoted, with Mr. Rama Seshu K reallocated to Regional Office Bengaluru South.

The bank also implemented changes in functional responsibilities for three general managers. Mr. Ravichandran S’s portfolio has been reallocated to general manager in-charge of legal & recovery department, while Mr. Nagaraja Upadhyaya B's portfolio now covers credit sanctions department (exposure up to Rs. 15 crores). Mr. Raghavendra C L, deputy general manager and regional head of RO-Bengaluru-North, will now also oversee the credit sanctions department at Head Office, Mangaluru.
