Adani group company boosts stake in NDTV

Vishvapradhan Commercial Private Limited (VCPL) and RRPR Holding Private Limited have disclosed substantial acquisitions in New Delhi Television Limited (NDTV) dated October 13, 2025. VCPL, acting as a promoter, acquired 5,071,346 shares, representing 0.9% of NDTV's voting capital, through a rights issue dated October 10, 2025. This acquisition increased VCPL's total voting rights in NDTV from 8.27% to 9.22%.

Concurrently, RRPR Holding Private Limited, also a promoter, acquired 3,108,1525 shares, or 3.35% of NDTV's voting capital, also through a rights issue on October 10, 2025. This increased RRPR Holding's stake from 56.45% to 59.80%.

Following these acquisitions, NDTV's equity share capital increased from 64,471,267 shares to 112,824,717 shares. Both entities have disclosed these changes in compliance with SEBI Takeover Regulations, reflecting a consolidated increase in the promoter group's holdings.
