Asian Paints subsidiary begins commercial production in UAE

Asian Paints Limited previously disclosed its intention to manufacture and export white cement and white cement clinker with an initial capacity of 265,000 tons per annum.

In the fiscal year 2023-24, the company established a joint venture, Asian White Cement Holding Limited (AWCHL), in Dubai International Financial Centre, UAE. Subsequently, AWCHL’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Asian White Inc. FZE, was incorporated in the Fujairah Free Zone, UAE, to undertake the aforementioned business.

Asian Paints has now confirmed that Asian White Inc. FZE has commenced commercial production at its manufacturing facility in Fujairah, UAE, effective today, marking the operationalization of its expansion strategy in the region.
