Brightcom Group expands into defense, centralizes funds, partners for disaster response

Brightcom Group Limited, following a board meeting on October 10, 2025, approved several key structural and strategic initiatives. A major development is the incorporation of Brightcom Defence Private Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary based in Hyderabad. This new entity will focus on AI-driven command, control, communication systems, decision-support platforms, and autonomous intelligence applications, aiming for 100 personnel within a year.

The board also approved the centralization of subsidiary funds to streamline cash management and optimize resource allocation. Surplus operational funds from international and domestic subsidiaries will be transferred to the parent company, enhancing liquidity and capital efficiency. Additionally, the company is withdrawing Resolution Nos. 5, 6, and 7 from the upcoming Annual General Meeting, which pertained to future fundraising authorizations.

In a strategic collaboration, Brightcom Group ratified an MoU with Project DYNAMO, Inc., a U.S.-based humanitarian organization. Brightcom's Defence division will integrate its AI-driven systems into Project DYNAMO's disaster-relief and evacuation missions, focusing on crisis management and national preparedness. The board reviewed H1 FY2025-26 performance, noting continued stability in AdTech operations and moderate market growth of 6-8% in key regions like North America, APAC, and Europe.
