Bajaj Finserv subsidiaries report strong September insurance premiums

Bajaj General Insurance Limited reported a gross direct premium underwritten of INR 2,218.77 crore for September 2025. The year-to-date gross direct premium up to September 2025 reached INR 11,554.35 crore, as per IRDAI guidelines.

Bajaj Life Insurance Limited also showed robust performance in new business. For September 2025, individual single premium stood at INR 65.73 crore, while individual non-single premium was INR 694.11 crore. Group single premium contributed INR 596.68 crore, and group yearly renewable premium was INR 18.06 crore, bringing the total new business premium for the month to INR 1,374.58 crore.

Cumulatively, for the period from April to September 2025, Bajaj Life Insurance recorded total new business premium of INR 6,327.17 crore. This included INR 358.85 crore from individual single premium, INR 3,067.48 crore from individual non-single premium, INR 2,532.31 crore from group single premium, and INR 368.53 crore from group yearly renewable premium.
