Thomas Cook India secures key partnership for Asian Aquatic Championships

Thomas Cook (India) Limited has signed an agreement to be the exclusive Accommodation & Transport partner for the 11th Asian Aquatic Championships in 2025. This multi-sport event, organized by the Swimming Federation of India (SFI) and supported by the Sport Authority of Gujarat (SAG), is India's first-ever hosting of the championships. Thomas Cook India's MICE team will manage accommodation, transport, logistics, airport arrivals, and F&B for over 1,100 participants, including 650+ athletes and 60+ support staff from 29 Asian nationalities.

A dedicated team of over 40 members will oversee operations across six hotel locations for 15 days, providing 24/7 on-ground assistance at Ahmedabad's international and domestic terminals. Services include pre-planned shuttle services with premium coaches and cars, and a 24/7 logistics control center. The company will also curate diverse culinary experiences, including vegetarian, vegan, halal, kosher, and gluten-free options.

This partnership reinforces Thomas Cook India's leadership in the MICE sector, building on its experience with government-led sporting events such as the National Games and Khelo India. CRISIL has upgraded the company's long-term bank facilities rating to 'CRISIL AA/Stable' and short-term facilities to 'CRISIL A1+'.
