TCS to create 5,000 UK jobs, launch new AI experience zone

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced its plan to create 5,000 new jobs across the United Kingdom over the next three years, reinforcing its strategic investment and partnership with the UK economy. This expansion coincides with the launch of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Experience Zone and Design Studio in London, serving as a second design hub following its New York studio opening in September.

A report by Oxford Economics, detailed in the announcement, highlights TCS' substantial contribution to the UK economy, with £3.3 bn in FY2024. The company also supported a total tax contribution of over £780m in FY2024 to the UK Exchequer. TCS currently supports 42,700 jobs directly or through its supply chain across 19 UK sites, with 15,300 employees in technology roles addressing the nation's skills gap.

TCS has been a leading technology partner to UK enterprises for over 50 years. The company's 'Partnering for Skills' initiative aims to reskill over 12,000 individuals for STEM jobs. TCS reported consolidated revenues of over $30 bn in the fiscal year ended March 31, 2025.
