Samvardhana Motherson subsidiary SMP Slovakia deregistered after merger

Samvardhana Motherson International Limited has informed the stock exchanges about the deregistration of its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, SMP Automotive Solutions Slovakia s.r.o. (SMP Slovakia). This follows a merger with another indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Motherson SAS Automotive Systems and Technologies Slovakia s.r.o. (Motherson SAS).

The merger application was filed with the Municipal Court Bratislava III, Slovakia, on October 3, 2025, and SMP Slovakia was deregistered from the Commercial Register on October 8, 2025. As a result of the merger and subsequent deregistration, SMP Slovakia ceased to exist as of October 8, 2025. Both SMP Slovakia and Motherson SAS were indirect wholly-owned subsidiaries of Samvardhana Motherson International Limited.

During the last financial year, SMP Slovakia contributed INR 705 million to the company's turnover or revenue, representing 0.06% of the total. Its net worth contribution in the same period was INR 72 million.
