KP Group to invest ₹8,000 crore in Gujarat green mobility

KP Green Engineering Limited has signed an MoU with the Energy & Petrochemicals Department, Government of Gujarat, to develop hydrogen and electric vehicle (EV) fuel stations across the state. This initiative, announced on October 10, 2025, is part of the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference 2025 and aims to strengthen Gujarat's clean energy and e-mobility ecosystem.

Under the agreement, KP Group plans to invest ₹8,000 crore to establish a state-wide network of these fuel stations, which is expected to create approximately 1,000 employment opportunities. The Government of Gujarat will facilitate necessary permissions and clearances for the project.

The MoU was signed on October 9, 2025, in the presence of Gujarat's chief minister. Dr. Faruk G. Patel, founding promoter of KP Group, stated that the collaboration aims to create a robust, future-ready refuelling ecosystem, positioning Gujarat as a frontrunner in sustainable infrastructure development.
